Middleton Bay
Type: sand over rock
Direction: mainly left, some rights
Length of wave: 60 – 120m
Offshore: NE-WNW
Wave size: 1 – 6ft
Tide: depends on banks
Skill level: beginner to expert
Comments: The bay is usually very average, but can be fun on a 3 – 4ft day, even throwing a little barrel on the end section. Watch out for the giant mounds of stinky sea weed!
The Pines
Type: sand over reef
Direction: left & right
Length of wave: 60 – 180m
Offshore: NW – SW
Wave size: 1 – 4ft
Tide: medium
Skill level: beginner
Comments: The breaks close to the town of Victor Harbor are extremely fickle and would be lucky to break once a year in the dead of winter. Once every 10 years it actually gets good!
Tunks

No man’s
Oliver’s
Shark Alley
Type: reef
Direction: left
Length of wave: 40 – 120m
Offshore: SW – NW
Wave size: 4 – 8ft
Tide: medium
Skill level: intermediate – experienced
Comments: The Alley probably only breaks three or four times a year, and properly only once. Needs a really big SW swell, and is perfectly sheltered from SW winds by the Bluff.
