South Coast

It’s looking good again on the South Coast this morning with light offshore North winds and well defined swell. Swell is up a tad with surf around 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch with the odd bigger set, and 2′ around at Chiton / Gap.  Waits and Parson’s will offer a bit more size, possibly closing out on the bigger sets. You’ll want to get on it this morning, the forecast predicts winds will be light and variable for a few hours before switching to onshore SE-S at 10 – 15 knots. Conditions will become bumpy / sloppy once the onshores kick in, and options will be limited. Shred factor 8/10

It’s another great looking morning on the South Coast with light offshore NW winds and corduroy lines of swell. Surf is similar size to yesterday at around 2′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch with the odd bigger set, and 1 – 2′ around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parson’s will offer a bit more size, the West in the wind will favour Waits. The forecast predicts NW-W winds at 15 knots shifting SW later, so the best of it will probably be this morning. Beachies between Middleton Point and Cliffs have been fun on the higher tide late morning over the last few days, may be similar today.  Shred factor 8/10

South Coast

Conditions are clean on the South Coast early with light WNW winds, and swell lining up pretty well. Surf around is 3′ along the Middleton – Day St.stretch, with the odd bigger set down toward Goolwa. Chiton / Gap are around 1 – 2′, Waits and Parson’s will be a bit bigger with winds favouring the Point end of Waits beach. The forecast is a bit weird today, predicting onshore SW winds shifting light – moderate NW after lunch. The breeze may come up and add some bumps late morning, but keep an eye on it for a late one as winds tend cross-offshore and clean it up again.  Shred factor 7/10

South Coast

Conditions are clean on the South Coast early with light offshore North winds, but it’s very cold again with air around six degrees. Surf around is 2 – 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with 1′ surf at Chiton and Waits and Waits / Parson’s probably a bit bigger. The window of clean surf might not last long, as onshore S-SW winds are forecast to kick in, possibly by mid morning. The onshores probably won’t get much over 10 – 15 knots, but that will well and truly be enough to make a mess of it. Brave the icy conditions and get what you can early.  Shred factor 7/10

Conditions are clean on the South Coast early with light WNW winds, but it’s chilly with air around six degrees. Surf around is 2 – 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with 1′ surf at Chiton and Waits and Parson’s probably a bit bigger. The forecast predicts Easterlies around 10 knots through the middle part of the day, tending onshore SE after lunch. Once the winds kicks around to the East it’ll start to get lumpy, and the onshores will make it feel more like November after lunch. Get on it early. Shred factor 7/10

South Coast

Conditions are clean on the South Coast early with very light East winds, and similar size swell to yesterday. Surf around is 2 – 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with Waits and Parson’s a bit bigger and Parson’s favouring the East in the wind. The forecast predicts Easterlies around 10 knots through the middle part of the day, so we may even see a bit of summer lumpiness in the swell. The breeze may tend more NE again late arvo and iron out some of the wrinkles, in any case it won’t get much over 5 – 10 knots. Shred factor 7/10
