Conditions are clean on the South Coast early with light offshore North winds, but it’s very cold again with air around six degrees. Surf around is 2 – 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with 1′ surf at Chiton and Waits and Waits / Parson’s probably a bit bigger. The window of clean surf might not last long, as onshore S-SW winds are forecast to kick in, possibly by mid morning. The onshores probably won’t get much over 10 – 15 knots, but that will well and truly be enough to make a mess of it. Brave the icy conditions and get what you can early. Shred factor 7/10
