Mid Coast

The wind is light from the NE and conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early, but swell has faded a bit. There are 1′ waves on the reefs but the tide is slowly heading out to a low at 0820. There’s not much movement on the incoming, only 65cm – but it will coincide with a minor lift in swell. There should be the odd bigger set by late morning, and the wind should remain light. There’s chance of light onshores taking the gloss off after lunch, but at least it won’t get too full. Small waves all day. Outlook for the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10.
