Mid Coast

There’s still some remainder from yesterdays’ swell on the Mid Coast this morning, but it has backed off overnight. Conditions are clean and glassy early with light ENE winds, but surf is back to around 1′ on the reefs with rare bigger sets. The tide’s heading out, so expect it to become even less consistent after 8am, also, it looks like there’s wind out to sea. The forecast predicts the breeze will shift SW by late morning, so from low tide onward it could be bumpy. The swell may get a brief pulse on the incoming tide after lunch, but with 15 knot SW winds quality will not be special. High tide is at 5:30pm, and there’s a slim chance winds will lighten off again in the evening. Shred factor 6/10
