Mid Coast

Conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast again this morning, with very light NE winds. There are a few lines of leftover swell but it is a bit small on the reefs this morning, with waves around 1′. There are occasional bigger sets but not everywhere is working coming up to a very full high tide just before 7am. The tide training out after8am will effect consistency but quality should remain pretty good with light / variable winds probably until lunchtime. Low tide will expose a lot of reef and rule out many of them for surfing, South Port and Moana will break better through low water. The incoming tide will produce a minor lift mod arvo, but it will probably come with fresh Southerly winds and bumps. The evening land breeze should clean it up after 6pm, but the swell will ease further during the day. Shred factor 5/10
