Mid Coast

Fresh SSE winds are up early on the Mid Coast, adding chop to a new swell. Surf is around 1 – 2′ on the reefs but nowhere looks great, and a wonky dodge tide ( nominal high at 0930 ) isn’t helping much either. The wind looks like remaining out of the SSE all day and picking up to 25 knots plus after lunch. The Southern end of South Port will offer partial shelter and a few 1 – 2′ waves later in the day, but forget the reefs.  If you’re wondering how the rest of the week is looking, check the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 1/10.
