Mid Coast

The swell has continued to wind back on the Mid Coast, but conditions are clear early with light SE winds. There are still a few 1′ waves on the reefs but not everywhere is picking it up, and there’s a bit of a wait for the sets. High tide was at 5am and it’ll get moving after 7am, with low tide bang-on midday. The beach breaks and The Trigs’ will have small waves at lunchtime, but it won’t get any bigger anywhere else as the tide pushed back in after lunch. The breeze will swing more Southerly and pick up to 17 knots, so anywhere exposed will be bumpy anyway. The Southern end of South Port will offer partial shelter late arvo / evening. Outlook heading into the weekend is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 4/10
