Mid Coast

ESE winds are fresh this morning with gusts around 17 knots on the Mid Coast. It doesn’t make much difference though, there’s not much swell to blow flat and surf is only ankle – shin nigh on the reefs. The tide is now heading out, and there’s a very low tide at 12:15 that will expose a lot of reef. The beach breaks might manage a few small lines but it will only be a little shorebreak most likely. It is a good opportunity to go for a walk out over the rocks to look for fins and dead drones. The wind will go SE after lunch and probably ease off through the middle part of the day. There’s no miracles expected on the incoming tide though, and it’ll remain almost dead flat for the rest of the day. Outlook for tomorrow is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 1/10
