Mid Coast

Winds are back under 5 knots from the NNE on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are glassy with a bit of leftover wobble in the swell this morning. Surf is around 2′ on the reefs, but the tide is just about to head out – which will knock some stuffing out of it mid-morning. The lower tide will favour the beachies just before lunch, but the incoming tide will hopefully give the swell  a push early arvo. The forecast predicts winds will pick up from the North a bit during the morning, and may get up around 15- 20 knots toward sunset. The arvo will be bumpy if the wind gets that strong, but hopefully it won’t and there’ll be waves all day. Big tide at 0530.   Shred factor 6/10
