Mid Coast

Gully winds are fresh this morning with 20 knots gusts from the East blowing out across the gulf. There’s not a lot of swell ( too South… again ) anyway, and the wind is flattening the odd one footer that hits the reef breaks. There’s a nominal high tide at 9am, then a slow outgoing tide until 3pm. The wind will nack off mid-morning to 10 – 15 knots as the sun warms up the land, and it’ll revert to a 10 – 15 knots sou-easter after lunch. The beach breaks will have small waves after lunch through low tide, but the reefs will be a bit cross-shore from teh South in the wind. Nothing much will change as the tide pushes back in after 4pm, surf will remain around 1′. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 3/10
