Mid Coast

12 knot WNW winds are adding bumps on teh Mid Coast early, dashing hopes of a dawny. this morning. There are some remnants of swell and 1′ waves on the reefs just going through high tide. The outgoing tide will start to drag it down further after 7am, but low tide at lunch might provide a few small waves at South Port and Trigs. The tide will start to push back in after midday, and it will fill up very fast. The incoming may lift the swell between 1 and 2pm but it’ll be very fat and slow after 4pm with the large tide. The wind might lighten off through the middle part of the day, tending more Northerly and picking up again mid arvo. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast.
