Mid Coast

NNE winds are only around 5 knots on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are clean. Unfortunately, swell is very small and surf is barely 1′ with the morning tide just about to peak. Not much will change as the ti begins to drain out, other than NW winds picking up 10 – 15 knots. Low tide won’t reveal any miracles, only small bumps at South Port and Moana. The incoming tide doesn’t look a whole lot better, and as winds shift more to the West it’ll add a few bumps. A weak SW wind looks like kicking in mid arvo until sunset, and surf will remain small to flat. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast.
