Mid Coast

Winds are from the NNE at around 10 – 15 knots on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are peaky with small swell persisting. Surf is around 1′ with occasional bigger sets, and the tide is heading out. By the time we hit low tide at 10am N-NW winds will probably be gusting over 20 knots, and conditions will be best for kite or wind surfing. At some stage after lunch winds will tend onshore Westerly, then SW by late arvo with 30 knot gusts forecast. The strong winds will ship up a stormy, but the timing of the wind change may mean size is restricted – and early tomorrow will be bigger. Keep an eye on it just the same, there’s a fairly big tide peaking at 1630.  Shred factor 4/10
