Mid Coast

Conditions are glassy again on the Mid Coast early, but the swell looks half what it was this time yesterday. There are still some 1′ waves on the reefs with a bit of a wait, and the tide peaking at 0845. The dropping tide will begin to affect it after 10am, but by early arvo the beach breaks and the Trigs’s should pick up some of the slack with small waves. The wind looks like it will barely top 5 – 7 knots all day, and remain light from the North. There’s not a whole lot of incoming tide but the reefs may see a minor improvement again after 3pm. Probably won’t get much over 1′ all day though. Check the latest surf forecast for the outlook heading into the new week.
