Mid Coast

Despite the forecast of a gale-force East wind this morning, the breeze is from the North at 15 knots on the Mid Coast first thing. It’s added a few bumps but it doesn’t really matter, because there are no waves. The tide is starting to head out, low tide is just before lunch. The BoM have abandoned the ENE wind and now predicts a moderate Nor-wester, possibly dropping out through the middle of the day. I’ll bet that’s when the sky starts a’rumblin and the lightning comes. If the wind stays light there’s a chance of small peelers on the reefs on the incoming tide, but most likely it’ll remain as good as flat for the rest of the day. The wind will swing SW at some stage tonight. Check the latest surf forecast to see how the next few days are looking.
