Mid Coast

15 knot NW winds are adding bumps on the Mid Coast this morning, but there are a few lines of swell beneath the lumps. Surf is only around 1′ this morning, but it should be bigger after lunch as some new swell starts to sneak into the gulf. Unfortunately, the wind will be stronger later, tending NW and possibly gusting close to 30 knots. It’ll be a great day of you have a kite or a sail, but for surfing it’s probably a write-off. Wave heights may be up to chest high later, there’s outside chance of some wind peaks at Moana late arvo but that’s about it. Check the surf forecast to see how the next few days are looking.
