Mid Coast

The wind is light from the East and conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early. There are 1′ waves on the reefs again, and occasional bigger sets despite a less than ideal tide. Low ti s at 10am, and it’s already draining out. Low tide mid -morning will favour Triggs and the beach breaks at South Port and Moana. The tide will begin to lift after 11am, and around midday some of the other reefs should start picking up some new swell. Unfortunately the wind looks like it’ll go Southerly and may pick up to 17 knots. The forecast is a bit iffy, and we might just have sou-easters all afternoon. High tide is at 3:45pm, only 1.7m.
