Mid Coast

Conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early with very light ENE winds. There are small liens of swell much like there’s been all week, with 1′ waves on the reefs and rare bigger sets. The tide is heading out to a low at 1030, then it’ll be slowly incoming until 4:30pm. The wind should be OK for a few hours this morning before picking up from the NE-N to around 15 knots. A southerly change is expected to arrive around lunchtime, so there’s a chance the wind might back off again before it arrives. There may be a few 1 – 2′ sets at some stage on the incoming tide, before the wind gets into it. There’s also a chance of a sou-easter arriving in the evening and smoothing it off again. Check the updated surf forecast to see how it’s looking heading into the weekend.
