Mid Coast

There’s been some rain overnight and a cool change, with winds around to the WNW at 15 knots on the Mid Coast early. Surf is only around one foot and most of that is chop whipped up by the wind. It’s also looking very full coming off high tide, but it’ll start to drain out after 7am. The Bureau of Met predicts 20 – 30 knot SW winds, but I doubt it’ll get that strong. It’s still likely the incoming tide after lunch will see the swell lift, and semi-stormy waves along the coast. Low tide at lunch might deliver a few bumpy 1 – 2′ waves at South Port, and there will probably be some bumpy 2′ waves for the grommies at Seaford late arvo. Winds should start to ease toward evening, but it’ll stay bumpy all day. Check the latest surf forecast to see how the rest of the week is looking
