Mid Coast

Conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early, with clear skies and light ENE winds. There are a few 1′ waves on the reefs but it’s getting toward low tide ( 0840 ) and many spots are looking a bit shallow. There’s some new swell on the Cape Du Coudiec wave buoy this morning, and we should see some of that sneaking up the gulf on the incoming tide late morning. Unfortunately it’ll be accompanied by Northerly winds, which are predicted to pick up to around 15 knots. The arvo will be bumpy with the wind but the beachies may offer some wind peaks for a bit of fun.  Shred factor 5/10
