Mid Coast

It’s just started raining on the Mid Coast, and the N-NW wind has dropped to around 7 knots after some  strong gusts overnight. Surf is lumpy and around 1′ with occasional bigger sets, and the tide peaking at 0720. Northerly winds are forecast to pick up again this morning, tending NW and gusting near 30 knots. They’ll settle in for the rest of the day and the breeze will have a fair bit of west in it, making conditions a bit NW stormy like. Swell will build on the incoming tide, so spots like Moana Nth might have something late arvo. Most likely though the Mid will be better suited to kite or wind surfing today.  Shred factor 3/10
