Mid Coast

There’s no wind on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are clean and glassy, but virtually flat again. There are some tiny lines of distant swell generating shin-high waves on the reefs, but to all intents it’s unsurfable. High tide’s at 0920, but it only moves about half a meter all day and won’t have much effect. The bureau of Met predicts winds will pick up from the North this morning to around 10 – 15 knots, then NW  ahead of a trough that will briefly turn winds to the SW. Surf will remain tiny all day, and winds will possibly drop out again in the evening.
