Mid Coast

Winds are around to the SE on the Mid Coast at around 10 knots early, and conditions are clean with a bit of southerly wobble in the swell. Surf is similar size to the last few days, around 1′ on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, and the tide peaking at 0815. The dropping tide will kill it a bit at high tide spots, but the lower tide will favour the beachies early arvo. Winds are forecast to tend Southerly later this morning, then SSW at up to 20 knots after lunch. Exposed stretches will become bumpy, but you’ll find partial shelter down the Southern end of South Port beach in the evening. Shred factor 5/10
