Mid Coast

Conditions are glassy on the Mid Coast early with no wind, and a few lines of leftover swell. Surf is around 1′ on the reefs with a few bigger sets,  and the tide heading out until 1115. The dropping tide will kill it at many spots, but the lower tide will favour the beachies mid morning. The reefs may benefit from the incoming tide, but there’s a gotcha in the guise of some crazy weather forecast. The prediction is for winds to pick up from the E-NE with possible gusts to 40 knots, and up to 40mm rain. If the wind gets anywhere near that strong everywhere will be a write off. The best of it will probably be int he next couple of hours. Shred factor 6/10
