Winds are light from the SW on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are bumpy for the first day of 2017. There are 1′ waves on the reefs and bigger sets on the reefs, with high tide just after 0630. The outgoing tide won’t hwlp it, neither will SSW winds that will start to pick up during the morning. The low tide will improve things slightly the beachies, and you might get some bumpy 1 – 2′ waves through the lunch hour. Probably won’t be much on the reefs after lunch, with SW winds possibly up around 20 knots it’ll be bumpy for the rest of the day. Happy New Year! Shred factor 2/10
