ESE winds are around 15 knots on the Mid Coast early and conditions are clean, with a small lift in swell overnight. Waves are inconsistent but a bit bigger at around 1′, maybe a tad bigger on the sets coming up to a nominal high tide at 0830. There’s not much movement in the tide today, and it’ll be the wind that plays a bigger part. Southerlies at 15 – 20 knots will probably make it bumpy after lunch, but a late shift back to the SE will clean it up again in the evening. Shred factor 5/10
