Mid Coast

08:45: Definitely some improvement with the dropping tide, there are a few waist high sets hitting the reefs and it’s nice and clean – you just have to wait for them. High tide spots are holding up OK but the lower water will expose some spots in the next 1 – 2 hours. Incoming tide will be worth a look.
05:50: Offshore East winds are around 12 knots on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are clean- but swell remains tiny. Surf is around shin-high on the reefs with the tide still coming in, high tide is at 0720. The dropping tide may help some spots pick up a few small waves but kill others mid morning, with the lower tide favouring the beachies just after lunch.  Swell looks like it may lift a bit on the incoming tide after lunch, winds are forecast to tend more Southerly at 15 – 20 knots but hopefully they’ll stay SE and keep it clean.   Shred factor 6/10
