Mid Coast

Winds are light from the ENE and conditions are glassy on the Mid Coast early, but surf is still a bit small. Some long period swell has arrived at the Cape Du Coudiec buoy overnight but waves are only around 1′ on the reefs that can handle the full morning tide. Once it drops a bit some spots may improve, and the lower tide will favour the beachies and spots like Trigs through the lunch hour. The breeze probably won’t get much over 10 knots today, but there’s a greater chance of it swinging onshore and adding bumps mid arvo. Swell will probably lift a bit on the incoming tide, how much remains to be seen. Shred factor 3/10
