South Coast

Conditions are glassy on the South Coast early with light East winds, but sou-easters overnight have again left plenty of lumps in the swell. Surf is around 3′ between Middleton and Goolwa but a bit all over the place, with glassy / peaky 2′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. The Bureau of Met predicts more sou-easters, probably kicking in again by late morning and filling in to 17 knots after lunch. The rest of the day will be a lumpy mess by the looks. Outlook heading into the weekend is in the surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10.
