South Coast

The swell has picked up a bit on the South Coast overnight, and conditions are glassy early with no wind – for now. Surf is around 2′ at Middleton, with occasional bigger sets between long gaps down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s will be a bit bigger. Anytime from sunrise onwards the breeze will begin to waft onshore and pick up, probably tending SW-S at 15 knots by morning smoko. Quality will deteriorate with the onshores, although the swell will probably build a bit after lunch. There’s a bit of a window there if you’re quick. The swell and winds will get more intense over the next few days, more on that in the updated surf forecast.  Shred factor 7/10.
