South Coast

The wind has already turned onshore on the South Coast as the cool change starts to move through. The swell has also died overnight and it’s already a bit bumpy early, with surf back to only 1 – 2′ at Middleton and  2′ at Day St. Waits and Parson’s will be slightly bigger, Waits point will only offer partial shelter. From now on the onshore wind will pick up, and by late morning will be in the 20 knot range. Quality will deteriorate further, and everywhere will be small and messy for the rest of the day. New surf forecast is due tonight. Shred factor 3/10
