South Coast

There’s no wind on the South Coast early and conditions are glassy, but days of sou-easters have left plenty of lumps. At least there’s some swell, and thanks to a very SOutherly direction it’s still not a bad size. Middleton has peaky swell and waves around 3′, and there are occasional bigger sets breaking out between Day St, and Goolwa. Chiton / Gap have a few 2 – 3′ waves and there are a few bigger sets hitting the Knight’s / Boomer end. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, winds will favour Parson’s early but it will be a bit shifty and hectic. The breeze will swing onshore SE by late morning and it’ll be very sloppy / lumpy after lunch. Right now is probably the best of it. Shred factor 5/10
