South Coast

It’s looking good on the South Coast early this morning, but you’ll need to get moving ASAP to capitalise on it. Winds are light offshore from the NNE and the swell is nicely lined up again, easing slightly overnight. Surf is around 2 – 3′ at Middleton, and there are still occasional bigger sets breaking down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s will be glassy and a foot or so bigger for more expert surfers. The forecast predicts SE winds could arrive at any time from sunrise onward, and conditions will start to lose their lustre once that happens. The onshore probably won’t get much over 10 – 15 knots, but it will mean the best of it is in the next few hours. Outlook for the rest of the long weekend is in the updated forecast.
