Really nice looking conditions on the South Coast early with winds just a puff from the North, and smooth seas. Unfortunately;y the swell has continued its downward trend, and surf is back to 1′ at Middleton. The Day St. – Goolwa stretch is picking up occasional bigger sets, but it’s a strictly longboard affair. Waits and Parson’s will be slightly bigger, both glassy and a better option for shortboarders. Winds look great all day, picking up from the North during the morning before dropping out again after lunch. The swell will remain small all day, and Middleton may get to the *barely breaking* stage by late arvo. Outlook for the rest of the week is in last night’s updated forecast.
