South Coast

Offshore Northerly wind are creating clean conditions on the South Coast early, but the new swell is looking very west in direction. Surf is around 1 – 2ft at Middleton, and it’s not a whole lot bigger along the Day St – Goolwa stretch. Waits or Partson’s are your best hope for a shortboard wave this morning, but you’d have to be quick. The swell is on the rise and wave heights will lift during the day, but everywhere will be blown out by strong N-NW winds from mid-morning onward. Rain and more wind will arrive later, with conditions better for kiting or sailing than surfing. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast.
