The wind is just a puff from the North and once again, conditions are clean and glassy on the South Coast this morning. The swell has not really kicked as hoped but there are still plenty of waves, with surf around 2′ at Middleton, occasionally bigger down toward Cliffs / Goolwa. Waitpinga and Parson’s should give you another foot on the sets, and glassy conditions. Winds look good at least up until lunchtime, but there is a possibility of a light onshore kicking in after lunch. The swell may be bigger later, so it’s a case of hedging your bets. Mid-morning may be the best trade-off. Check the updated surf forecast for the outlook heading into the new week.
