NE winds around 10 knots are adding a bit of a wobble to the swell on the South Coast this morning, but it’s otherwise lining up OK. Surf at Middleton is back to around 1 – 2′, with 2′ waves along the Day St. – Cliffs stretch. It’s marginal around t Chiton and The Gap, but Waits and Parson’s should have a few 2 – 3′ sets. The East in the wind will favour Parson’s. The BoM predicts the wind will shift more NW at up to 20 knots, before it tends NW-W and eases 10 – 15 knots late arvo. The swell will probably be smaller after lunch, and anywhere open will be slightly blown out through the middle part of the day. Should be clean after 3pm.
