South Coast

Onshore SSE winds are into it early on the South Coast, leaving messy conditions and very few options. Surf is around 3 – 4′ at Middleton and off the Point, but quality is pretty dismal. There are a few bigger sets but no better quality from Day St. to Goolwa, and it’s choppy 2 – 3′ around at Chiton Rocks. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, but there be no shelter there. The swell will probably lift during the day but the wind might be up to 25 knots from the South after lunch. You’ll geta grovel in the Bay at Middleton, or maybe The Dump later today. Desperate stuff. Check the latest surf forecast to see how the rest of the weekend is looking.
