Swell has dropped on the South Coast overnight, but conditions are clean with light WNW winds early. Surf around is 3 – 4′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with clean 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, winds will favour Waits in beside the point. The forecast predicts Nor-westers will pick up during the morning, and may be gusting over 20 knots after lunch.
