Conditions are clean but a bit blown out on the South Coast early, with NNW winds gusting 20 – 25 knots. Surf is around is 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with part sheltered 2′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, wind direction will favour Waits but it’ll be blown out. The forecast predicts a W-SW change will arrive sometime around lunchtime, with strong winds behind it. Swell’s not big enough for sheltered spots to get going, and every where else will be stormy and wind effected. Try Middleton Bay late arvo maybe, with moderating winds toward sunset.
