South Coast

Onshore SSW winds at 10 – 15 knots are creating messy conditions on the South Coast this morning, but there’s plenty of swell. Surf is in the 5 – 6′ range along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, but a grovel in the Bay is about your only option. There are messy 3 – 5′ sets hitting the Knight’s / Boomer end of the Victor – Port Elliot stretch, and messy 2; waves at The Dump. The BoM predicts winds will remain onshore all day and may be around 20 knots from the SW-S after lunch. The swell will stay up but quality will remain poor all day.
