South Coast

The South Coast is rocking that awful summer look this morning despite light winds from the East early. There’s plenty of swell but it’s a mess, with surf ranging from 4 – 5′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch. It’s also a good size between Port Elliot and Victor with 5′ sets hitting the Knight’s / Boomer end and 2′ lumps at The Dump. Waits and Parson’s will be off limits, but there may be a few sneaky options that side of VH worth checking. The wind will go more Southerly by lunchtime and might blow up to 25 knots, trashing it further. The current swell has probably peaked, and it’ll ease over the next 36 hours. The outlook is a bit better for the weekend, check the latest surf forecast for more info.
