South Coast

There’s plenty of swell on the South Coast this morning, but fresh SE winds all day yesterday and overnight have left it pretty messy. The wind is light from the East early, and the swell is broken up and lumpy between Middleton and Goolwa with surf in the 4 – 5′ range. There’s not as much swell getting in around the other side of Port Elliot, with 3′ lumps at Knight’s and similar sized lumpy waves at Chiton Rocks and The Gap. Parsoon’s will be sheltered in beside the point, but probably closing out a fair bit. The wind looks like it may go NE late morning at 10 -15 knots, bit probably SE after lunch. The swell will ease during the day, and conditions will stay messy. Check the latest surf forecast to see how tomorrow looks.
