Winds are back to the NW at around 7 knots on the South Coast this morning, and conditions are clean early. Swell is more Southerly today, and it’s solid with 6′ surf along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch. There’s still some slabs sneaking in along the Port Elliot to Victor stretch as well, with 3′ waves at the Dump and reef magnets between Chiton and Knights bigger. Swell will ease during the day, and it may get a bit blown out along exposed stretches if NW winds reach the forecast 20 knots. It’s pretty good early though. Shred factor 8/10
