South Coast

NW winds are around 15 knots on the South Coast this morning and conditions are still clean early, but probably won’t be for long. Surf around is 4′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with clean 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parsons will be bigger, although bigger sets will be closing out and wind will soon be a factor. The forecast predicts NW winds will pick up to around 25 knots this morning, tending more Westerly at up to 30 knots after lunch. Everywhere will be blown out probably by mid morning, but swell isn’t big enough for the really sheltered spots to fire. A W-SW change is expected to arrive late arvo / evening.  Shred factor 7/10
