South Coast

Conditions are semi-clean on the South Coast early with West winds around 20 knots. Swell is still very westerly and that’s limiting size, with surf  around 1 – 2′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch,  and 1′ around at Chiton / Gap.  Waits and Parson’s will offer a bit more size, and Waits Point will be part sheltered. The forecast predicts winds will shift more onshore sou-westerly and gust to around 30 knots, so exposed stretches will be a write off. Swell will need to pick up a fair bit for any sheltered spots to work, but keep an eye on it later. Shred factor 6/10
