South Coast

West winds are around 10 knots on the South Coast early and conditions are a bit bumpy along exposed stretches. There is a reasonable south swell running and surf is a good 4’+ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, just a bit wobbly. It’s cleaner and part sheltered around at Chiton / Gap and there are 3′ waves with a few bigger sets sneaking in now and then. The Dump has some smaller waves as well.  Winds are not gonna get better today, and the arvo looks more onshore with winds tending S-SE in the evening. Next few hours will be the best of it.  Shred factor 6/10
