Conditions are clean with light offshores on the South Coast this morning, but swell is small despite being well lined up. Surf is around 1′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch with rare bigger sets, only suitable for longboards / SUPs. Shortboarders will be better off heading around to Waits / Parson’s where there should be a few 1 – 2′ waves and several options along both beaches. Unfortunately winds are forecast to pick up this morning and gust to 30 knots from the N-NW, shifting strong NW-W after lunch. The whole South coast will be blown out and stay that way for the rest of the day. The next couple of hours will be the best of it so get moving. Shred factor 6/10
