Conditions are glassy with light WNW winds on the South Coast early, although swell is a bit westerly in direction. Surf is around 2′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, and 1 – 2′ around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, and the west in the wind will favour Waits over Parson’s. Gusty W-NW winds are predicted for the rest of the day, so exposed stretches will become blown out and sheltered spots won’t be big enough to break. Another day to grab what you can early.
